Welcome to our wedding website! We are so happy to share with you all there is to know about our journey of love and friendship: how we met, the proposal, the wedding locations (we’ll be having two!) and the events calendar that will follow. We had our traditional Igbo wedding on December 27, 2014 and our Church wedding will be held on May 2, 2015. We look forward to celebrating our commitment to each other with you! Start ReadingOur love story began not too long ago in the Summer of 2013 (June 16, 2013 to be exact) and by December 16, 2013, we were getting engaged on the streets of Paris, in front of Notre Dame. God is important to both of us, and Nexus could think of no better place to propose, but in front of the house of God. Nexus hired a Parisian photographer who posed as our tour guide. He walked us into Notre Dame, where we prayed for God’s blessings. Soon after we left the Church, Nexus dropped down to one knee and the photographer (or should I say tour guide) was there to capture every moment.
Nexus proposed on our sixth month anniversary. Although it doesn’t seem long, we had been very good friends for years prior. As friends, neither of us ever fathomed ending up together. Nonetheless, God had other plans. It was a memorable day, and afterwards, we were very happy to share our special moment with our parents, siblings, and friends.
